Newborn sessions are so special to me. I love doing them, I love holding and snuggling a brand new baby. I love the sweet grunts and whistles they make while they’re sleeping, it’s music to my ears. I love the way they smell, I wish it could be bottled. Newborn photos are something that I missed out on with my own children and it is so unfortunate because it’s such a special time that only lasts a short while. Newborn sessions are done in your home where everyone is comfortable, where you can be yourself and go about your day while I document it….

Beautiful Fall Maternity Session

Fall Family session

One of my favourite families to photograph! This was our third session together and I look forward to another in the near future.

This session is a perfect example of why styling your session is so important. Believe me, Jess (the mom in these photos) and I exchanged many emails throwing ideas around on what to wear and what to bring, what locations to use , and what time of day we should do it etc…

So Please, if you’re not sure about how to properly style your session, don’t be shy I love every aspect of photographing families, right down to your socks! 🙂

       
            

First Blog Post

My first experience visiting the west coast. To call it beautiful is an understatement, but there’s really no other way to describe British Columbia!

And my first blog post.  SO EXCITING!

I know many of you are probably thinking it’s about time… and it is true, there is so much that I want to share! ( I know, I’m a huge dork)

It’s a learning curve for me so it may look wee bit sloppy for a while, but it will be a fun journey. Enjoy.
